We've updated the step by step instructions for down loading and displaying Surfing After Dark image collections using Image Surfer Pro version 01.01. The biggest change is that opening a collection file may no longer automatically generate the visualization files - this is now user configurable, so we added information about the user configuration optimal for Surfing After Dark collections and using the binoculars button.

Two updates to the MetArt member collection complete the MetArt Member archive of images prior to 2004. This is the first update to a collection made with Image Surfer Pro version 01.01 so you will want to make sure and get your upgrade in order to take advantage of these new files.

As we near the 150,000 image mark for this collection, I'm sure you will agree with us how great the new "Guided" visualization is in the latest Image Surfer Pro release!

Image Surfer Pro 01.01 Released!

As many of you noticed (and let us know) the last update to the MetArt Member Collection would not load correctly in Image Surfer Pro. As it turns out, there was an unknown limitation of 999 child segments. With the last update, our MetArt Member collection 2010 directory went well over 1,000 sequences!!! It took them a few days, but a new version of Image Surfer Pro has been released which we have verifies fixes our issue has been released. According to the release notes, several of the enhancements we have also been asking for have been made as well - so go get the latest version of the software today!!

NOTE: they also report opening a 01.01 collection with the 01.00 version of software may hang or cause other unexpected behavior!.

We've cleaned up the file names of the Playboy_CyberClub Member collection updates. The new names will give you a better feel for what is each update and allow you to store them in the same directory with other Surfing After Dark Collections. While there are now fewer images referenced overall, the organization of the collection is greatly improved. There are no longer any dead links and you can access each image sequence individually. We will rebuild the other sections of the site which use to be referenced in the next few days - watch for more updates.
